Woman appears in court over "bonfire body"

A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Herefordshire man whose badly burned body was found on a bonfire.

Kirsti Windsor appeared before Hereford magistrates to hear the charge relating to the death of 40-year-old Much Dewchurch resident David Langdon, who was found dead on farmland near Wormelow in August 2008.

Thirty-seven-year-old Windsor, of Saddlebow Springs, Garway Hill, was also charged with perverting the course of justice along with Katie Brown, aged 29 and from Peartree Cottage, Pencoyd. 

Neither have entered pleas. 

Both were released on conditional bail to appear at Worcester Crown Court on January 7.
