Power Outage - January 18th

Residents will have woken up today (Sunday, 18th January) to discover they did not have any power.  This was caused by the overnight severe weather conditions.  Around 2.00am, a tree was blown down in one of the properties on the main road through Kingsthorn village, taking down an overhead power cable.  The immediate area was isolated, leaving many properties without power.  Engineers attended the scene and restored power around 9.30am.
