Colleagues in Ross have asked us to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in crime in their area, and could well be working our area too.
The vehicle is a blue Ford Ranger twin cab pick up with chrome grab bars behind cab. It has a running board between the wheels and additional lights on the front valance and on the roof of the cab. They would appear to be spot lights and a trapezoidal orange beacon on the cab and spot lights on the front valance.
We do not have the real registration number for this vehicle, but a vehicle similar to this has been sighted in the Ross on Wye and Monmouth area on a number occasions recently displaying the number BD 53 BJY.
This relates to a white Ford Ranger stolen from Pontypool Gwent on the 4th October 2009.
There was a burglary in Ross on the 15th October and a trailer theft on the 22nd October believed involving a similar described vehicle.
