There was a break in at a farm in Thruxton overnight last night, a stable was broken into, and a 'Blue Giant' road racing bike was stolen, valued at £2,000.
Also stolen was a 'Castor' chainsaw and a 'Shindaiwa' hedge trimmer and attachments. The thieves also stole the battery from a Ford Maverick which had been parked in the drive.
There was a theft from a field in Orcop the weekend before last, where a cement mixer and a quantity of hand tools were stolen, also taken was the battery from a JCB, possibly a link to the Thruxton incident.
A farm at Pencoyd was visited by thieves overnight 25th/26th Feb, an outbuilding was broken into and tools were stolen.
A Nissan Micra was stolen from outside an address in Wormelow overnight 25th/26th February, and later found abandoned in Llanwarne with the windows smashed.
