A black Nissan Navara pick-up YN06KUE was stolen between 10.30pm Thursday and 11.00 yesterday morning from a layby on the A465 at Didley. The vehicle had been left there as it had broken down, the fan belt had broken.
Yesterday morning between 9.40 am and 11.30 am thieves removed the top of a transformer at a Central Networks storage site at Much Birch and removed the copper wound core, measuring 3' x 18" (Some of you might understand what this is! I don't!).

All NW co-ordinators are invited to attend West Mercia Neighbourhood Watch Forum’s 2010 Annual General Meeting, which will be held at Police Headquarters, Hindlip Hall, on Tuesday 16th March 2010, 6.30 p.m. for 7 p.m. start.
Main speakers will be Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Allbutt, Commander Community Safety & Justice, and Mr Colin Whittaker who will speak on Crime Scene Preservation.
In addition to electing your representatives to the Executive, this is your opportunity to question senior police officers on matters that concern you.
Light refreshments will be available from 6.30 and afterwards. The meeting is scheduled to finish by 9.00 p.m.
