Between 5pm yesterday and 9am today, a red Honda Quad bike was stolen from a farm building in Harewood End.  The doors to the shed were new and had heavy duty padlocks fitted on them.  Two panels of the door had been smashed, and the thieves had smashed off the padlocks using an axe and sledge hammer taken from another building.

Finally, another batch of 'Thieves Beware, SmartWater is in this area' signs have arrived, so if you're interested on behalf of your community/Parish Council etc, the signs are £15 each, but buy 2 and get 1 free, so in effect, for £30 you can have 3 signs.
