Here's a round up of what has been happening on our patch over the last week
Over last weekend whilst the occupants were away, an attempt was made to enter a residential property in Kingstone, the would - be thieves tried to gain entry via a kitchen window but were unsuccessful.
Overnight on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th February, a grey Landrover Defender N573XOA was stolen from a premises at Broad Oak.
Overnight on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th February, thieves struck twice in Pencoyd. An outbuilding of a private residence was broken into and a large quantity of power tools were stolen. An Ifor Williams tipping trailer and a pair of wooden gates were stolen from another domestic premises nearby.
Now for some good news! I have attached a copy of the press release that went out this morning concerning the arrest of four males for a series of distraction burglaries in our area.
