There are just a couple of incidents to bring to your attention this evening
Between Saturday 20th and Monday 22nd an Ifor Williams dropside 10' x 4' silver trailer was stolen from a factory premises in Fir tree Lane, Rotherwas. It was in a secure compound in front of the factory, thieves cut the padlock from a chain round the main gates, and took the padlock with them.. The trailer had ramps, and the words 'Hedon Road' were written on it in black letters.
Domestic heating oil was stolen from a tank at the rear of a premises in Haywood over the past two weeks - we haven't had any reports of this type of theft for a while now, lets hope it's not the start of another spate - keep an eye on the oil levels in your tank!
You may have already heard through the media; the threatened closure of the front counters at Peterchurch and South Wye police stations is now no longer happening, and the stations will remain open.
