Briefings from your Local Policing Team

August 10th 2009

Two vehicles and an Ifor Williams trailer were stolen overnight last night from a business premises in Allensmore.  There was a silver Peugeot Estate R 547 YUD and a white LDV van BD 51 UUA stolen, and the trailer is a P7E model.  Any sightings of these, please let us know straight away.  Two vending machines on the site were also broken into and a quantity of cash stolen.

Parents - please note

West Mercia Police have become aware of new web site that allows children and young people to connect to a complete stranger for on-line chat.  The web site is www.omegle.com and it appears that the whole point of the site is to allow a connection to a complete stranger and to engage in a one-to-one chat with them.  There are obvious concerns of unsolicited adult/child contact taking place.

West Mercia Police continue to advise parents to show caution when permitting their children any unsupervised access to the internet.

Many thanks
